We are also asking him to invite the families of other world leaders to participate in this celebration. Globalfamily Day (One Day of Peace and Sharing) is a day to share food with friends (especially the needy); make personal pledges of non-violence; ring a bell, beat a drum, or post a note on Facebook as a way of spreading the message of peace. The open and conciliatory tone of Obama's address in Cairo earlier this month affirms his commitment to bringing the United States and the Muslim world closer together in the name of peace. The potential for GLOBALFAMILY Day to play an important role in Obama's vision of a more united world is immense. (Read More)
